Signing in with Google

If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name and email address with Stateam. We use them only to create and sign in to your Stateam account and to show your name in the app. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers listed below that run the app.

Stateam’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who can see your information

We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Service providers and storage

Stateam uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to run sign-in and store data. Data is stored on Google Cloud servers in Seoul, South Korea. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Students under 14

If you are under 14, you need permission from a parent or guardian before creating an account. If we learn that a child under 14 has created an account without that permission, we will delete the account.

How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your login, profile, personal logs, notes and correction requests are deleted right away, and you are removed from team rosters. Official game results your coach entered stay in your team’s records, because they are part of the team’s history.

Your choices and rights

Security

Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication. Access to data is controlled by security rules, so for example only a team’s coach can change its official stats and only you can read your personal logs. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don’t use anywhere else.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
