These terms apply when you use Stateam, an app for high school athletes and coaches to record stats and manage school teams. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Stateam
Stateam is for students, coaches and team managers at participating schools.
If you are under 14, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Coach and manager accounts must be approved by the Stateam administrator before they can manage teams or post official stats. We may decline or remove approval at any time.
2. Your account
Use your real name and your actual school.
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Choose the correct account type. Players may not sign up as coaches.
3. Teams and invite codes
Teams are invite-only. Only join teams you actually play on, using the code your coach gave you.
Coaches should share invite codes only with players on that team, and create a new code if one is shared by mistake.
Coaches may remove players from their team’s roster.
4. Stats and content
Enter stats honestly. Official game stats are entered by the team’s coach. If you think yours are wrong, use “Request a correction” in the app.
Personal logs are for your own tracking and are not official records.
You keep ownership of what you enter. You give Stateam permission to store and display it as described in the Privacy Policy so the app can work.
5. Things you may not do
Pretend to be someone else, or claim another player’s roster spot.
Harass, bully or embarrass other users, including through names or notes.
Try to access data you are not allowed to see, guess invite codes, or interfere with the app.
Use Stateam for any purpose that breaks the law or your school’s rules.
6. Ending your account
You can stop using Stateam at any time and delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
7. The service
Stateam is provided as it is, and features may change. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Stateam is not responsible for decisions such as team selection or scholarships made using stats in the app. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the minimum required.
8. Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Stateam after a change means you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
